-Digital painting pro, skilled at painstaking pencil rendering.

-Traditional skills like perspective, composition, lighting, character and environment design.

-Photoshop and Flash expert, with an intimate understanding of what 3D artists require.

-5 years light-touch leadership experience, with emphasis on art directing small teams and managing small groups or individual outsourcers. 

EXPERIENCE

-Principal Artist - Fogbank/ Storyscape 2017-2020- I did environment, color, and character design for a variety of games. I worked mostly on the original IP products Eternal City, Ageless, and Fairytale.

-Visual Development Artist/ Art Director - Arden's Wake - Penrose studios - 2017 I joined the team as the sole VisDev artist but took over as art director when the production designer left.  Designed all characters, sets, posters, and did the pre-production designs for Penrose's next unannounced project.  

-Principal Artist – KABAM 2014 – 2016-  Mostly I designed characters for really interesting unlaunched games, but I also worked on Star Wars: Uprising, the Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle earththe Godfather, Kingdoms of Camelot, and a whole suite of other games.  I generally assist the art director by providing second opinions on everything from Character and environment design, stylistic direction, and snack quality.

-Creative director, - KABAM – Publishing Department, 2014 – I worked to improve creative and art direction on a variety of foreign games to improve suitability for the western market.  This included spreadsheets, copy editing, painting, and art direction.

-Creative Lead – 2 canned ios games - KABAM – 2012-2013 – I lead the creative side of two ios games to prototype phase, both of which were cancelled due to factors beyond our control. 

-Art Lead and Story Steward – KABAM, Dragons of Atlantis – 2010-2011  –Art lead of initial launch team, responsible for creative content and art during first year of game development.  Advisor for the mobile version.
